13 rings horse leather cuffs

the 13 rings cuffs have been cut from a butter soft full grain 1.2mm vegetable tanned, washed and tumbled horse culatta leather in an aniline matte black dye treatment. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and medium to firm temper. vegetable tanning is a traditional method of treating the hide using natural extracts such as tree bark, for a truly artisan finish.

crafted from multiple hand cut straps, the rings are hand sewn in a tonal 0.65mm hand waxed Japanese linen thread over a 36 hour period. the rings are attached to a single center strap and taper in size from the forearm to the wrist.

each piece comes in a hand made leather package.

applying protective cream:
- apply a thin coat of the cream on a soft and clean cotton cloth
- spread it evenly in a circular motion over the surface of the leather
- if the leather is extremely dry – repeat the process up to two times within four hours
- the protective cream provides a shine and also gently darkens the leather
- do not apply the cream directly on the leather
