the minimal vanity case has been cut from a butter soft full grain grade a 1.6mm chrome tanned, washed and tumbled ostrich leather. incredibly supple and lightweight the leather melts over your finger tips while preserving enough structure to hold the silhouette. the unique dye treatment delivers a washed and distressed black finish mimicking that of a nubuck hide.
the vanity case has been lined with a hand dyed tuscan horse vachetta floating interior to give the case added structure and flexibility simultaneously.
crafted from a single piece pattern construction and hand sewn with our adaptation of overlocked stitching in a tonal 0.65mm hand waxed Japanese linen thread over a 15 hour period without the use of machines.
aside from hammered and exposed seams, the minimal interior is broken up by a keychain loop acting as an additional counter weight for the lid.
an exaggerated rear carry strap in a thick black culatta sits alongside a center strap that wraps around the case holding the hand crafted burnt bronze nail that slides through the front loop closure.
the case has the capacity to carry all your travel essentials comfortably.
