a compact portrait cardholder, meticulously hand cut from an incredibly soft 1.2mm vegetable tanned and tumbled horse culatta, with a beautiful fiber structure packed full of textures, tonal nuances and scarring. the leather has been finished with our signature ash dye treatment offering an additional layer of subtle dry texture. a layer of waterproof liquid is applied to seal the ash and provide additional protection.
the portrait cardholder features an open stitch construction to the center which allows for additional movement when it is overloaded with cards. overlocked stitching to the sides using hand waxed 0.7mm japanese linen thread locks together the three card slots which can hold up to 12 cards as well as folded notes. each piece comes in a handmade cow leather pouch.
