a cross body bag, cut from a washed 2.3mm vegetable tanned buffalo leather offering a dense structure, tight grain and firm temper.
the bag has undergone extensive treatment over the course of 14 days, starting out as a natural tan coloured leather, it is first soaked in cold water before a base layer of iron solution that has been brewing in the atelier for 18 months is applied. multiple layers of a water based dye are applied over the top to bring out an array of tonal nuances before being oiled and waxed.
the unlined bag features a multiple panel construction with open seams to the front and rear. our signature overlock stitched side panels form the bags silhouette, and utilise a hand waxed 0.65mm japanese linen thread. a zipper pocket to the rear can accommodate an array of valuables and features a custom hand made zipper pull.
a hand sewn double faced strap sits centre stage and forms the closure to the front. a hand sewn double faced adjustable leather shoulder strap is attached to the hand forged iron rings to the rear, with double iron rings allowing for easy adjustment.
