a compact landscape cardholder, hand cut from a butter soft full grain washed 1.2mm vegetable tanned horse culatta. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and firm temper. the leather has received an iron solution base coat with a rich purple oil dye top coat creating an oil slick aesthetic. the landscape cardholder features an open stitch construction to the center using 0.9mm hand waxed japanese linen thread from meisi, giving you the ability to hold up to 12 cards as well as folded notes in the trio of slots. each piece comes in a handmade cow leather pouch.
