the first in our reincarnate series. taking our existing silhouettes and submerging them in a clear liquid rubber sealing them entirely. with a destroy to create ethos allowing each individual to cut, peel and tear the rubber creating a one off unique piece. the minimal portrait cardholder has been cut from a soft 1.4mm vegetable tanned horse culatta leather. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and firm temper. the leather has been finished with an iron solution created from sea water and shipwrecked metal to generate a range of tonal nuances. the cardholder features overlocked hand stitched sides using hand waxed 0.9mm linen thread to create the triple slots allowing the compact wallet to hold up to 12 cards as well as folded notes. each piece comes in a handmade cow leather pouch.
