the versatile patchwork bag can be worn on the shoulder, across the body or carried in hand and has been cut from a butter soft full grain 2.2mm african kudu leather
kudu leather offers a soft handle and waxy pull up, with a dense structure, tight grain and sporadic scar details and is finished off with a soft elephant grey aniline dye treatment.
crafted with a multiple piece pattern construction without the use of machines, the sporadic patchwork panels are hand sewn over a 48 hour period with a hand waxed 0.65mm japanese linen thread. our signature overlocked side panels form two spines holding the bags shape.
the unlined interior showcases the flat hammered side seams that sit in juxtaposition to the double layered patch pockets highlighting the natural edge of the hide creating an organic form.
an m6 riri zipper provides the closure to the main compartment and is adorned with a hand forged iron zipper pull and backed with the same kudu leather for added durability.
the double layered flap features a zipper pocket to the center with a hand forged iron zipper pull. large hand forged iron rectangles mirror the cut out sections of the flap, with double layered triple stitched straps pulled through to anchor the flap in place and change the silhouette of the bag.
a double layered triple stitched deconstructed kudu leather shoulder strap can be adjusted via two small iron rectangles with a burnt black patina.
