iron dyed culatta bifold wallet

the bifold wallet has been hand cut from a butter soft full grain 1.4mm vegetable tanned horse culatta leather and cold soaked creating an unbalanced silhouette. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and firm temper.

the leather has been finished with an iron solution created from sea water and shipwrecked metal to generate a range of tonal nuances. the wallet features a single piece pattern construction using 0.9mm hand waxed japanese linen thread from meisi. the compact wallet can hold up to 8 cards as well as an array of notes in the compartment behind the card slots. the wallet is finished off with signature branding details. each piece comes in a handmade cow leather pouch.

applying protective cream:
- apply a thin coat of the cream on a soft and clean cotton cloth
- spread it evenly in a circular motion over the surface of the leather
- if the leather is extremely dry – repeat the process up to two times within four hours
- the protective cream provides a shine and also gently darkens the leather
- do not apply the cream directly on the leather
