the versatile leather pouch can be worn on the shoulder, across the body or round the neck and has been cut from a butter soft full grain 1.5mm vegetable tanned, washed and tumbled horse culatta leather.
culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and medium to firm temper. vegetable tanning is a traditional method of treating the hide using natural extracts such as tree bark, for a truly artisanal finish.
crafted with a triple piece pattern construction, the bag is hand sewn with our signature overlocked sides in a tonal 0.65mm hand waxed Japanese linen thread over a 10 hour period without the use of machines. the unlined interior has been waxed to avoid leather particles getting into the charger ports.
a detachable double layer carry handle can be adjusted via a raw iron slider and attaches to the bags small hand forged iron ring at the rear which doubles as a handle with a hand distressed clip. the bag is finished off with an angular iron tab to hold the bags flap closed.
the leather has been hand dyed in a rotten corpse matte black using a water based dye solution with an iron dyed base offing an array of deep inky hues.
the pouch is big enough to carry sunglass, a smartphone, a cardholder and keys.
