the wedge cardholder has been hand cut from a butter soft full grain washed and tumbled 1.3mm vegetable tanned matte black horse culatta leather with a visible layer of subdermal cordovan. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and medium to firm temper.
born from the intention of reducing waste from the off cuts in the atelier, the cardholder features 5 compartments with the ability to hold up to 16 cards as well as folded notes. a black hand waxed 0.65mm japanese linen thread has been used for the overlocked sides forming the pockets.
