a minimal portrait cardholder, hand cut and from a soft washed and heavily waxed 1.8mm vegetable tanned reversed culatta leather, utilising a part of the leather some would consider surplus to requirements, this one off piece champions the deterioration and scars of a life once lived. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and firm temper.
the cardholder features overlocked hand stitched sides using hand waxed 0.9mm linen thread. the compact wallet holds up to 12 cards as well as folded notes. each piece comes in a handmade cow leather pouch.
