the third iteration of our signature long wallet series imbues the eternal battle between light and dark as their paths entwine forming the perfect harmonic balance.
the wallet has been hand cut from a butter soft full grain washed and tumbled 1.4mm vegetable tanned horse culatta leather in a rotten corpse matte black and a soft crushed bone. selecting cuts to showcase and highlight the natural grain of the leather.
culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and medium to firm temper. vegetable tanning is a traditional method of treating the hide using natural extracts such as tree bark, for a truly artisanal and robust finish.
hand crafted over a 20 hour period without the use of machines, the wallet has been sewn with contrasting hand waxed 0.65mm japanese linen thread. an open seam construction forms the front panel where the threads of light and dark entwine and is fastened with a hand forged wrought iron coffin nail.
multiple card slots to the the interior allow you to hold up to 18 cards and are complimented by a riri m4 zipper pocket with a custom 10 hour slow oxidised .925 sterling silver zipper pull.
a large note or passport compartment to the rear features subtle details such as our signature branding.
each piece comes in a handmade leather pouch.
