the clutch has been cut from a butter soft 1.8mm vegetable tanned and waxed horse culatta leather offering a sporadic fiber structure and an array of natural scarring. the bag features a single piece pattern construction to the body held together by overlocked hand stitched sides in a 0.7mm hand waxed Japanese linen thread. a double interior pocket big enough to hold a smart phone and other small objects is complimented by an exaggerated riri zipper closure and a hidden hand strap to the rear.
the iron hardware has been shaped and hammered in the atelier, to form the unique closure sitting in juxtaposition to the geometric body of the bag. the iron shank fastening will evolve over time and react with the leather creating an array of rusted nuances. each piece comes in a hand made calf leather package.
